How I scored full Marks (50/50 ) in SSC CHSL 2024

Hello aspirants, Recently I gave CHSL 2024. And in CHSL 2024, I got full marks (50/50) in Reasoning/General Intelligence Section. I have put the score card here. Below I am sharing my strategy which got me full marks in CHSL 2024 Reasoning Section.

Scoring full marks in the Reasoning section of SSC exams requires a smart, structured approach. In the SSC CHSL 2024 exam, I followed a personalized strategy that helped me complete the section with 100% accuracy. Here’s a detailed breakdown of my preparation method, topic-wise approach, and mock test analysis.

Step-by-Step Reasoning Preparation Strategy

1. Covered the full syllabus

I began by understanding the complete syllabus of Reasoning section. This helped me identify high-weightage topics and plan preparation accordingly.

This is the strategy I used in CHSL 2024 exam to score full marks in reasoning.

2. Focused First on Diagram-Based Topics
I started with visual reasoning topics that often appear in SSC exams:
  • Paper Cutting
  • Water Image
  • Mirror Image
  • Embedded Figures
These topics are scoring and can be mastered quickly with practice.

3. Completed Other important topics
Next, I moved to other topics like
  • Dice
  • Coding-Decoding
  • Alphabet Series
  • Number Series
  • Direction Sense etc.

I cleared the concepts and then solved previous year questions from Testbook.

4. Took Full Length Reasoning Mock Tests
Once the syllabus was complete, I started giving Reasoning only mocks tests based from Testbook. This helped me simulate the real exam environment.

5. Analyzed Mistakes and Improved
After each mock test:
  • I carefully reviewed wrong and unattempted questions.
  • I created separate notebook for weak topics.
  • I revised and practiced those areas until my accuracy improved

This structured approach helped me solve entire Reasoning section in SSC CHSL 2024 with full marks and within the time limit.
